Problem
I receive the error: "Unexpected Response from the license server. Status code 590..." while trying to log into Cycle.
Solution
A status code 590 occurs when Cycle is unable to communicate with the Cycle License server. This communication uses port 443 via TLS. This issue is most often caused by either local or network security settings.
Step 1
You should contact your systems administrator or IT department to have your network security settings adjusted to allow this connection for Cycle.
Step 2 (Optional)
One possible workaround to this issue that doesn’t require changes in network security settings is to disconnect from your primary domain network and connect to a guest network or hotspot in order to acquire a Cycle license.
Once the license has been acquired you can reconnect to your primary network and Cycle will function properly.
Note: This workaround will not work in every situation, but may help temporarily while your IT department determines whether an adjustment in network security settings is warranted.
